Precious Plastic Philippines proudly served as a judge for the Green Innovation Challenge at TESDA's 2025 Tagsanay Award, held at Ylagan Hall, Marikina City. The 11th annual "Araw ng Parangal" celebrated top tech-voc trainers driving sustainability. Themed "Ika-labing-isang Taon ng Pagkilala sa Natatanging Tagsanay ng Makabagong TVET," the event (October 7-20) highlighted digital transformation and green skills.
Thirteen finalists showcased eco-friendly teaching methods, focusing on waste reduction and circular economy principles. Precious Plastic Philippines, experts in plastic recycling, evaluated projects aligning with our mission to combat plastic pollution. "We saw inspiring ideas turning waste into resources," said Butte Metz.
Finalists like Dr. John Emil M. Sioco (Region I) and Engr. Roy A. Cabatic (Region XII) excelled in sustainable innovation. The champion won Php 25,000. Our role reflects our commitment to a plastic-free future, with community hubs in Manila and Cebu transforming waste into eco-products.
